Interrupted by Glory - Matthew 2:1-12

An interruption changes the subject and demands immediate attention. Christmas was the greatest interruption this world had ever seen, with the birth of Jesus disrupting the world's status quo. Matthew 2:1-12 shows that Jesus, the eternal Son of God, entered humanity and changed everything. It raises the question of whether we view Jesus as an unwelcome interruption or we embrace Him and worship Him.

"And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh." Matthew 2:11
