Continuing in Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, He teaches that His revolutionary beauty will be unleashed through His transformed followers. Jesus urges his people to turn the other cheek, go the extra mile, give more than is asked, and love their enemies. As God's people come to know Him as their Father, they will drive significant change in the world.

"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. ... Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:38-39, 44-45)
