"This will change your life" is a common phrase that we often hear that rarely makes good on its promise. Usually it's about something small or trivial, something to eat, a new gadget, but rarely does it actually change our life. Then, every once in a while, there is something serious, something real that we encounter, that really does change our lives forever.

Today, in Psalm 117, it's the love of God. The life-changing love of God. Not just his general love for the world, but God's love for you and me specifically. And that changes everything.

"Praise the Lord, all nations!
Extol him, all peoples!
For great is his steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord!"
