Over the last month we have launched a study through our statements of faith at the church. We have covered why we trust the Bible, who God is, and how God has revealed Himself to us as a Trinity. I am reminded that the belief in the Triune God is not a weird appendage onto our faith. Rather, it is the heart of the gospel and the only thing that makes sense of the Bible. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are the One True Living God. This one God who exists in three persons is our life, our salvation, and our object of eternal praise.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below,
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts,
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
