Yesterday was a wonderful Lord’s Day with God’s people at Palmetto Shores Church. I was so encouraged by God’s word and by the response of the church to His word. Our singing together was heart warming as we responded to 1 Peter 2:9-10, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”
It was hope filling to join our hearts and voices together and sing:
It won’t be long, we will behold Him
And every tear, He’ll wipe away
We’ll be at home, the war will be over
Soon we will meet our Saviour face to face
And every burden will be lifted in His presence
Every trophy will be laid down at His feet
There is a name that reigns above all others
Jesus Christ, the King above all kings
The Lord Bless You
